🐾 How We Help Street Animals

A malnourished dog, victim of worms eating him inside.

🆘 Rescue Injured or Sick Street Animals

We respond to emergency calls and rescue street animals who are injured, ill, or in danger. Whether it’s a dog hit by a vehicle, a kitten trapped in a drain, or an abandoned pet left to fend for itself — our team acts quickly to bring them to safety.
We receive distress calls daily from kind-hearted citizens, and every rescue is a race against time. Our volunteers work day and night to ensure no animal suffers alone.

🩺 Treatment & Veterinary Care

Once rescued, the next crucial step is medical treatment. We’ve partnered with nearby veterinary clinics and trusted treatment centers to ensure every rescued animal receives the care it needs — from first aid and vaccinations to complex surgeries and long-term recovery.

Each case is different, and our veterinarians create tailored treatment plans. Our focus is not just to save lives, but to restore them to health, comfort, and dignity.

🐕‍🦺 Sterilization & Vaccination Drives

One of our key focuses is preventing animal suffering before it begins. Through regular sterilization and vaccination drives, we work to control the street animal population humanely and protect them from deadly diseases like rabies and parvovirus.

These efforts not only save lives but also reduce conflict between street animals and local communities — building safer, kinder neighborhoods for both humans and animals.

🏡 Foster-Based Rehabilitation & Recovery

After treatment, many animals need time, care, and affection to recover — both physically and emotionally. That’s where our foster-based system comes in.

We place rescued animals in loving foster homes where they can heal in a safe, nurturing environment. Our foster volunteers provide food, medicine, and plenty of love while helping the animals regain trust in humans.

This temporary care is a vital bridge between rescue and adoption, ensuring that every animal gets the chance to fully recover before finding their forever home.

🍲 Feeding & Welfare Programs

Hunger is one of the greatest challenges for street animals. Our volunteers conduct daily feeding drives across Zirakpur and nearby areas, ensuring that stray dogs and cats get nutritious meals and clean water.

During extreme weather — scorching summers or cold winters — we also set up shaded resting areas, provide blankets, and distribute water bowls across colonies and marketplaces.

A full belly and a little kindness go a long way in making their lives better.

🏠 Adoption & Forever Homes

Every animal deserves a family to love and be loved by. Through our adoption drives and online campaigns, we connect rescued animals with kind-hearted adopters who can give them the forever homes they deserve.

We carefully screen adopters to ensure they’re ready for the responsibility and joy that comes with bringing home a rescued pet. Every successful adoption fills our hearts — it’s the happiest part of our journey. 💖

💞 Awareness & Community Involvement

We believe that real change starts with compassion and awareness. Through school programs, social media, and community events, we educate people about animal welfare, kindness toward strays, and responsible pet ownership.

Every person who learns, shares, or helps becomes part of a growing movement of empathy — and that’s how we create lasting change.
